Story

UPDATE Thanks so much for everyone's support & messages - blown away really, never thought I could raise this much. Should you be interested, on the day, if you text the word 'RUN' to 83040 you'll get a link to a mobile tracking service - put in my number 7663, and you'll be able to track where I am, my speed, etc. Apparently. God knows how! ==================== Despite being a hypochondriac non-runner who enjoys a drink and possesses a penchant for procrastination, this month, if all goes to plan, I will fulfill a long-held ambition to run the London Marathon. Having applied every year for five years in a row (each time secretly delighted to be rejected), I got my place through the ballot system. This means I am under no obligation to raise money for charity. However, it seems a little mean not to make some good come of all this running nonsense. As such, I'm raising money for The Hollybank Trust - which has provided a home and more importantly the best possible quality of life for my younger brother, Louis, for over 8 years. For more on the charity, it's in the bottom left there. Given the credit crunch, depression and general dark financial times we live in, please don't feel like you have to give more than you can. But if you've come this far, I hope you can chuck something in the pot. Thanks for your support. See you on the other side. Joe
