BUPA Great North Run 2013 · 15 September 2013 ·

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.

Story

Depending on your view of these things, I'm either running this for Herb - to raise awareness about his condition and to help other people who've suffered from it - or I'm running it because I've spent my life loafing on the sofa and I'm scared I'm going to keel over and cark it in my late thirties. FUN!
