Great South Run 2009 · 25 October 2009 ·

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit me at JustGiving. I hope you'll want to support my running.

This year I ran the 10-mile Great South Run in Southsea and Portsmouth on 25 October 2009. My time was a pretty laggardly 01:48:50 (just short of 11mins a mile) but I finished inside the top 50% (9862/21000).

I was running for Mind, the National Association for Mental Health. It helps people take control of their mental health by providing high-quality information and advice and campaigning to promote and protect good mental health for everyone. It is also one of the partners in Time to Change, the campaign to end mental health discrimination.

Impressed? Nonplussed? You can still sponsor me retrospectively if you like! Just click the 'Donate Now' button.

Next year I plan to run for Body, the National Assosciation for Knackered Runners.
