Story

John Parker died on 1st April 2021.

John was one of the country’s leading coachmen, holder of two World Records.  Most famously associated with the London-Norwich Royal Mail Coach, he and his life-long partner and wife Susan owned Swingletree Stables from where they travelled the country giving displays with their lovely grey carriage horses.

At Swingletree they shared their passion for carriage driving through teaching and chatting with the many visitors to their home.

To all those who donate – thank you so very much.

John would be very touched by your generosity.
