Story
My dad, John sadly passed away on Tuesday 19th April 2016.
He was the strongest man I have ever known. After suffering a heart attack many years ago, he had a piggy back transplant which saved his life and gave us the amazing quality time with him until this sad day. He fought through the recovery, he fought through cancer, and more recently he fought through kidney failure for a whole year despite being told he had 48hrs. He was a fighter.
Despite all this he never complained, always happy and always helped others. He taught so many people around him so many things. There was nothing he couldn't do and shared willingly.
We would like to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in place of flowers or donations so that we can give another family the chance of having that precious extra time with a loved one. We would like to thank the British Heart Foundation, Harefield & Conquest Hospitals, doctors, nurses, staff, family and friends for all their help over the years. And a special thank you to the amazing person who gave their heart to save my dad....you will never be forgotten and have a special place in my heart x.
Dad....we miss you so much. Mum, Tina and I thank you for every second of the day you were in our lives, we hope to make you proud. All your family and friends miss you too, we all love you so so much......until we meet again xxx
