On 25 September, along with a team from Club 300 Perth, I'll be taking part in the Spartan Beast - a half marathon with 30 obstacles along the way, designed to 'push you out of your comfort zone and right out of your limits'. Eh, whit?

I'm doing this to raise money for The Lighthouse for Perth, a crisis centre dedicated to working with anyone aged 12 or over experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide or in emotional distress. 

The Lighthouse for Perth is a drop-in centre, a crisis hotline and an active organisation going out to schools across Perth & Kinross helping young people in crisis. 

My goal is to raise £2000 to help with their outreach work across the county.
