Story

Hi

As many of you may know, my baking/cooking skills are pretty much non existent….my forte being baked beans on toast with the magic ingredient black pepper!

This Sunday, I will be joining in the National 2.6 Challenge to save the UK charities and will be supporting www.WheelPower.org.uk to help them raise funds to keep disabled people active at home during these unprecedented times. My wife Jo, has worked for them for the last 27 years and I have been fortunate to see their excellent work first hand.

My challenge is to bake 26 cup cakes all on my own! Not a challenge for some you might think, but believe me, it is for moi!

Any support you are able to give would be amazing and really appreciated.
I will post a picture of my result so watch this space!

Possibly with Black Pepper, but don’t tell Jo :-)

Thank you

Jon

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
