Story

Hello

I finished ! You have all been very generous in helping me raise £5000 and rising. Thank you !

The Ironman in Spain, 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and a marathon to finish was not alot of fun. I won't be recommneding it.

The Ironman was wet, windy, hot and slippy. After swimming off course becasue I was worried that some guy was going to pinch my goggles, the rescue boat pointed me in the right direction. I finshed the swim half way through the field. I fell off my bike two laps into the cycle at a slippery round about and dragged myself through the marathon.

I would like to thank my engineer, trainers and hardcore supporters, Mr Townsend, Mr Roberts, Lotta, Ali and my parents for coming out to Spain.

27 % of the starting field did not complete it, which says something about the conditions. Email me if you would like to see some awful photos of me doing it.

Thank you again

Information about the charity. This particular charity has been carefully selected.  It's cause is all too familiar to a friend Russell Catley and also my family, who lost Jamie Keeling.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an

extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now! This photo was me chilling out on in a cold shower.

Every penny goes to the charity, no entry forms etc

Many thanks for your support.
