Story
On October 9th I will be running the Liverpool Marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of my grandparents. The 26.2 miles starts in the Wirral and passes through the Docks, three parks and around two miles in the Mersey Tunnel.
Anyone who has ever seen me play any kind of sports will know that it is not where my strengths lie! I hadn't really been running before April of this year, but decided a marathon would be the perfect starting point...
As part of the preparation I ran the City of Manchester 10k on Sunday 3rd July and the Nottingham Half-Marathon on Sun 11 Sept.
Any donations big or small would really mean a lot.
Progress so far:
July 3rd: City of Manchester 10k - 57m 09s
Sept 11th: Nottingham Half Marathon - 2h 09m 46s
