I am taking part in a 200km race over six stages in the Amazon jungle. 

It is a self-sufficient race so I will be required to carry all my food, hammock and provisions etc.

Nights will be spent sleeping in hammocks at campsites along the shores of the Tapajos river. 

The race will be run from October 8th- 17th 2009.
