Swansea Memory Walk · 29 September 2013 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hi we are the Jo's

Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page.

2013 sees both Jo's stepping out from our Accountants jobs to take part in the 10km Memory Walk helping to raise money for the Alzheimer Society.

We are no strangers to raising money for charity having previously taken part in several Race for Life events for Cancer Research U.K. and also taking part in 2 midnight walks to raise money to help terminally ill children dreams come true. JoJo is currently involved with The Pilot Cutter Seamark Charitable Trust  helping to raise money to restore the Seamark.

The Memory Walk takes place in Swansea on Sunday 29th September at 11.00 a.m. Please come a long and help cheer us both on.

You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.

By sponsoring the both of us the money raised will help to provide vital support to people living with dementia and help research to find a cure for the future.

Money raised can help in the following ways:-

£35 could support a person with dementia to receive a one hour befriending session with a volunteer, providing them with companionship and social support

£50 could support five people with dementia to attend a one hour session at a Dementia Cafe, receiving information and support in a friendly and informal setting

£104 could allow callers from anywhere in the country to call the national Alzheimer's Society Dementia Helpline each week at their local rate

Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.

Thank you for your support

Love

JoJo & Joey
