Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was diagnosed with Parkinsons in Nov 2008 initially with a tremor in my right arm. The tremor has increased since and now also effects my right leg as well and has also progressed slightly to my left arm but not enough to prevent me from doing my favourite outside activity of cycling. Prior to getting Parkinsons I, with my husband, Dave, have cycled extensively on long tours in places such as Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South America and well as lots of trips closer to home. I have always had an ambition to do a long trip in the USA and feel that this is the right time to do it and I also feel that I should try to do something to help towards finding a cure for Parkinsons by raising some funds. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Because this cycle trip across the southern states of Amercia from San Diego in California to St Augustine in Florida, a distance of around 3,000 miles will be quite demanding I am also going to be monitoring my Parkinsons and how my body reacts to it all.
We will be keeping a blog throughout the trip at:

Many, many thanks for your support
