The West Highland Way · 16 January 2013

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Josh Stojkovic and I'm 8 years old.

In May, me and my dad are walking the West Highland Way over 8 days. Its 95 miles long..!! We are carrying all our gear in our rucksacks on our backs. The walk is from Glasgow to Fort William. We pass next to Loch Lomond and then up into the mountains around Rannoch Moor and Glencoe, then over the Devils Staircase before finishing besides Ben Nevis. We are already in training on the treadmill at home. I am confident I can do the challenge but I'm a bit worried about my dad..!! We did walk 65 miles last year though on St Cuthberts Way so we've had some practice.

I want to raise money for Parkinsons UK so that they can help get rid of the disease that my Grandad has. It would be great if you could sponsor me....if everyone gave £5 that would be great...thank you very much  :-)
