Joshua's Hair Raising Challenge

Hair Raising Challenge · 24 February 2017
My name is Joshua Ginty, I am a student at Holmes Chapel Primary School in year 6. I will be taking on a "HAIR RAISING" charity challenge and will be growing my hair for 12 months in aid of local children’s cancer charity, The Joshua Tree.
The Joshua Tree support family's by offering free supports to sick children and their families across the North West of England so please give as much as possible.
A note from my mum;
Joshua is normally very concerned about keeping his hair short and neat but after a joke challenge with his stepdad at Christmas, decided that he wouldn’t have his hair cut for a year, hoping that people would sponsor him to support a local charity.
I’d heard about The Joshua Tree from my uncle who had been along to a fundraising event for the charity and decided to find out more. Joshua and I are really pleased that we will be helping local families to receive free support during their child’s cancer journey. It was also fitting that Joshua’s name matched the charity.
We will be keeping his sponsors updated with fortnightly progress photos and updates on his hair length and has promised to sport different hairstyles at key dates throughout the year to keep people interested. Have a hairstyle idea for Joshua? Providing it doesn't involve scissors we will attempt it.... the crazier the better. 😜
