Story

After "running" the Manchester Marathon at 17 stone and a little all over the place mentally, I have decided to have a proper go at training for a charity endurance event this year. On the 14th of September I'll be doing the London Duathlon (Classic), which is a 10km run, followed by a 44km cycle, and finished with a 5km run, all of which takes place in the lovely Richmond Park - http://londonduathlon.com/

I'm training hard, eating well, and shedding a lot of weight to genuinely have a good crack at this one, and the cause is as close to my heart as any. Rather than wax lyrical about the work MacMillan do, I will simply link to their site, which details the amazing contribution they make to battling Cancer - http://www.macmillan.org.uk/

If anyone feels kind enough to donate, it will be greatly appreciated. Every penny will go to MacMillan. And if anyone fancies cheering me on, get down to Richmond Park on the 14th of September and we'll have a right knees up down by the river afterwards!
