Story
Hi folks.
Yes I am crazy enough to have entered the Great North Run again(!), and gained a place with Newcastle's Dog and Cat Shelter. I raised £173 for them last year and this enables them to continue their fantastic work, helping to rehome animals and care for those who can not be rehomed. They do an amazing job and need all the help and support they can get to make this possible. As you may know, my dog Millie came from the Claremont Road branch and she is an invaluable addition to my life and has been with me for 9 years! We also lost Hooch, my little ginger and white friend on 13th June at the age of 13. Whatever you can afford, no matter how big or small is very much appreciated. And last year, the thought of how kind people had been with their donations, along with the thought of what a difference the money would make to the lives of the animals in need, really spurred me on to the finish!
