Snowdon Challenge · 21 June 2014 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

 Hello!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, it means you're one step closer to being an absolute hero and donating to Parkinsons UK by sponsoring me on this adventure!

I'm going to be tackling Mt. Snowdon, as the first of many walks/climbs I'll be doing to raise money for Parkinsons UK. We've got our eyes on Ben Nevis next...but I'll keep you posted.

Two of my good friends will be helping out along the way, Mike Wilson (a genuine adventuring could-be-a-stunt-man hero) David Sewell (fitness freak and spiritual guru).

The inspiration for which has come about due to my Grandad being diagnosed with Parkinsons earlier this year. Having lived a life giving to others, through standing up for his beliefs as a local MP and giving his all to his community, I think its high time I rallied up the support he and others deserve through these testing times.
Hopefully by doing things such as this, we can make a positive contribution to Parkinsons UK.

So this is me saying thank you, and we're all here for you Grandad.

 Adam x
