The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Ever since I saw Jessie J have all her hair shaved off for Children In Need and donate her locks to the Little Princess Trust I wanted to do the same but at 8 years old my parents said to wait a while and see if I still wanted to do it. Then earlier this year my class friend Rebecca at Bewley Primary School was diagnosed with a soft tissue cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma and she has lost all her hair from the treatment she is undergoing and this had spurred me on to do it. So with the consent of my parents and the help of Bewley Mummies I will be having all my hair shaved off on the last day of school and donating my hair and sponsor money to the Little Princess Trust so that little girls like Rebecca can have wigs made if they want them.
