Action Medical Research is a UK-wide charity funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies and children. We fight for answers that can lead to cures, treatments and medical breakthroughs for some of the toughest fights our children face.

Story

Thank you for visiting our sponsorship page.

Trek-the-Night is a team challenge that we haven't done before and we think we've got what it takes to complete it.  Starting a midnight and hiking through the night, it's 40 miles along the stunning Cotswold Way.  OK, so it might not be stunning in the pitch black at 3am but we're looking forward to the sunrise and it's a fun way to raise money for Action Medical Research, who do amazing work to help change children's lives.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years they’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But they urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children.

We have another incentive too - there are two teams from Kanes Foods taking part in the challenge so we're competing against our colleagues to see who can finish first and more importantly, who can raise the most money.  Please give what you can and help us reach our fundraising target.

Join our fight for little lives.
