I'm taking part in this challenge to raise funds and awareness for The Fostering Network.  Myself and my husband Simon have been foster carers for 4 years and have 3 teenagers in placement with us.  We believe that every young person deserves a safe and secure home to grow up in and we feel privileged to be able to be part of providing that for our young people.  The Fostering Network provides us with fantastic support, independently of the local authority, providing information and advice through all areas of fostering.  If by challenging myself I can raise more funds for The Fostering Network to help support other carers, then every step will be worth it, bring on the wall!!                                                   I will be funding the trip myself so all donations made will be going to the charity.
