WHY SPONSOR ME? I'm running in Sheffield and Leeds this summer to raise money for the Yorkshire Cancer Centre. This is a £220m oncology wing (the largest in Europe - it's HUGE!) located at St.James Hospital, Leeds. The Centre opened in January and offers cancer treatment and care to patients in Yorkshire.

The Yorkshire Cancer Centre appeal aims to raise funds to further enhance the facilities to patients and ensure that it remains at the cutting edge of cancer diagnosis and care.

I have two personal goals this year. The first is to raise more money than last year. This year's target is £120. The second goal is to finish ahead of the 84 year old dressed as a gorilla.
