Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Now raising funds for the Three Peaks Challenge, which Si completed in 2008.  A group of us will be attempting the same challenge in September 2009, in honour of Si and his never ending energy.  To donate, please go to http://www.justgiving.com/3peaksforsimon/

On 17th July 2008, my beautiful 'baby 'brother died suddenly from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS).  Simon was just 25 years old.  As a family, we will be putting all our efforts into raising funds for C-R-Y, with the aim of preventing as many people as possible having to suffer as we are.

Simon lived his life to the full, and has left so many wonderful memories for so many people.  Simon sweetheart, this is for you.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cardiac Risk in the Young gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.

Si's gilrfriend and her sister (Jen and Rach) are running the London Marathon in April 2009 for C-R-Y, in memory os Simon.  To see their Just Giving Page, go to the following website http://www.justgiving.com/liveseygirls

Simon's close friends have also been raising funds in memory of Si.  To see their Just Giving page, go to the following web page: http://www.justgiving.com/ali-g-halfmarathon2008
