I have been wanting to run in Race for Life for a number of years but never seemed to get around to it.  Late last year my mum was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, although she has completed her treatment and is waiting for the all clear it has totally made me think about prioritising this and doing it now.  Amazing progress has been made in cancer research in the last few years and my mum may not have been so lucky with her amazing treatment plan and care if it wasn't for  events like these funding cancer research.

We all know someone touched by cancer.  Hopefully by sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
