Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Hello all,

Thank you so much for visiting my London Marathon 2008 fundraising page.

After contemplating running a marathon for the last few years, I have finally decided (or was rather pushed) to get out there and join in the fun! So having committed to running, walking or crawling to get to the finish – I would greatly appreciate some support.

I am running for Spinal Research, a pioneering charity finding ways to repair spinal cord injury. Please if you can sponsor me, I will promise to try and sprint to the line!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Spinal Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Thrina.
