Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

As most of you will know, I lost my father to a brain tumour in November 2004.

Dad's determination to win his two year fight with the brain tumour never diminished. He continued to cycle to the gym even during the chemotherapy, only giving this up when his lack of balance made it impossible. When he could no longer play cricket, he insisted on being there to watch and support his team.

2011 is the year for me to do something positive that would have made my dad proud and will help Brain Tumour UK to carry on their fantastic work.

Brain Tumour UK is the leading, caring charity commited to fighting brain tumours. Their work focuses on providing support, funding research and raising awareness.

With their great work in mind, I'm asking you to give as generously as you can to help me reach my target of £3500. In return, I will be completing the following events:-

1. Skydive (I absolutely despise anything to do with aeroplanes or heights!) - 26th March 2011

2. The British 10k London Run - 10th July 2011

3.Mount Kilimanjaro Summit Climb - Commencing 1st February 2012 - Without a doubt this will be the hardest thing I will ever do in my life.

Please pass the details of my page onto anyone who you think may be interested in sponsoring me.

I appreciate anything you can give and I know that If Dad was still with us he'd be joining me with gusto!

Thank you,

Kathryn
