I am a member of Royal Liverpool Hospital Transplant team following the unselfish act of my brother John who donated a kidney to me in July 2005 and enabled me to live again. I have taken part in 2 British transplant games and this is me receiving a gold medal for 1500m at Edinburgh in 2007.

Because of this I have been selected to compete in the World games in Australia later this yesr I can't tell you what an honour this is for me I never thought anything like this was possible! to compete for your country in a sport that has been a hobby for years.

I am competing in Womens Liverpool 10k in May to raise money to help pay for the trip so please give generously and I will try to bring back some medals from Australia
