Story
Every 20 minutes someone in the UK is
diagnosed with blood cancer. Last year that was a family member of ours. Ian Witham was diagnosed with a very rare form of Leukaemia and urgently needs to find a bone marrow match.
DKMS help people like Ian find lifesaving matches, but of course this comes at a cost. The cost of registering one potential donor is £40, we are aiming to raise enough money to cover at least 25 donor kits.
Katie has never run more than 5k in her life and for those that know Tom will know he is the most injury prone man around so it's going to be tough but the thought of 13 miles to help fund 13+ potential donors will be keeping us going!
