My Story

Cancer is a disease that has affected many families across the UK and across the world. On Friday 13th May 2016 I was given the news that my Mother Michelle Allen had lost her battle with Cancer 2 days before she was due to have life changing surgery- she had thought a long and hard battle. I want to join the Pink Army and run in memory of my Mum. There isn't a day that passes where she isn't in my thoughts.

I will also be running for my Father Trevor Allen, who was recently diagnosed with Lung and secondary Brain Cancer and is currently under going treatment. My Dad has battled this disease once before just when he was 26 years of age. Together we are stronger and together we can fight this.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
