Kintyre Kayak Challenge · 25 June 2014

Story

My trip around the Kintyre Peninsula will take three days from 25th - 27th of June. On the 28th of June I will complete the circumnavigation by walking my kayak the last leg of the journey between West and East Loch Tarbert - just as Magnus Barefoot, King of Norway did centuries ago.

This is in aid of raising money for  equipment for a childrens outdoor gym at Tarbert Harbour to acompany the existing adult outdoor gym.

The aim of this project is to enable parents and carers to exercise outdoors in a safe environment alongside their children.

The outcomes from this project are aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles amongst both adults and children.
