After my first effort in India last year, I'm attempting another ride this Autumn.

In September, I will be trying to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats as part of the inaugural Moneyspinners ride.  With a group of around 25 other members of the Financial Services Community, I hope to raise as much money as possible for charity.

All the money I raise will go to the Openwork Foundation and to its "Cares 4 Kids" campaign but a proportion will be passed to Naomi House, a children's hospice in Winchester.  Naomi House's funds have been severely depleted by the crash of one of the Icelandic Banks.  I have visited the hospice and if anything can get my aged body across all of those many, many miles, it will be the thought of what Naomi House has done for the 600 families who have so desperately needed its help.
