On New Year’s Eve, my family and I were devastated by the loss of my beautiful Niece Pia to suicide. In her honour and memory we are climbing Snowdon in the hope of raising  money to help prevent another family from having to experience such tragedy.  Pia was a beautiful young woman who could light up a room. She was full of love, kindness and compassion for others and she left her mark on everyone she met. She had recently turned 20 and should have been starting her journey, we now have to continue ours, without her. If we can raise awareness of mental health through education and support by raising money for Mind then hopefully we can help prevent another such tragedy.
