Story
My sister Vikki and I are running this years race for life in my Mams honor as she is fighting the battle against cancer. In 2014 she was diagnosed with lung cancer, she had her left lung removed and went through chemo with great results and was doing fantastic, until January this year when we were hit with the devastating news that it had returned and it had spread an awful lot. So now my mam is fighting this awful disease again, she currently going through chemotherapy for the second time in 18 month.
Also running for the bravest little boy I know, Archie Mcnish. He's four year old and has been battling leukemia for 3 and a half years. A long and horrible time for him and his family, but hes soldiered on like a little trooper! Hopefully not long until his final treatment and fighting fit again. You can do this Archie! Kick its butt matey!! We believe in you. Xxx
And Not forgetting everyone who is fighting cancer now, those who have beat it and sadly those who have lost their battle, including my beautiful nana Jean xxx my grandads Harry and Bob xx and my lovely mother in law Yvonne xx RIP xx
