Ade and I are going to walk across our little Island in just 72 hours.

On Sunday 19th July at 10.00 am, Ade and I will be setting off from Bowness-On-Solway which is on the west coast of England and walk through Cumbria over the Pennines and onto Tynemouth on the  east coast. We will be walking nearly 100 miles and must be in Tynemouth by 10.00 am on Wed 22nd July in order to complete our task.

This is going to be quite a challenge as we have to cross some very difficult terrain at times. We will be carrying the bare essentials that we will need to get through it, so it could become quite rough as we dispense with all luxury items like tents.
