We took part in the London Night Hike on Friday 19th September ( 20 mile hike ) ...

Starting at City Hall 10pm ... Somerset House to Battersea Power Station ... The Star & Garter to Maggies Centre ... special features: Royal Geographical Society to Wellington Arch ... The IET to the finish line City Hall at 9am Saturday ... ( 11 hrs to complete )

& would very much appreciate any donation you can make to what is a fantastic charity.

We chose this particular event and charity as statistics show that one in every three people in the UK will be affected by cancer at some point in their lifetime, and wanted to contribute to the goal of Maggies Centres.  Maggies goal is to keep people who have cancer as healthy in mind and body as possible by enabling them to participate actively in the treatment of their disease.  Back in April, Maggies opened their first centre in England in the grounds of Charing Cross Hospital.
