Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you will know I have been lucky enough to secure a place in the Virgin London Marathon 2012, running to raise funds on behalf of Alzheimer Scotland (many have been subject to my moaning about going for another run, not complained about me not being around to bath / feed / change my gorgeous daughter or pulling out of playing football for fear of injuring my chocolate joints again)
I am aiming to raise a minimum of £2,000 for this very worthy cause and therefore any donation you can make will be gratefully received by both myself and the charity.
Training is going well so far, the cold, wet, windy mornings (not to mention the lovely hills of Edinburgh) will hopefully be a distant memory as I line up on the 22nd of April in London Town! Just as long as it is not too warm.
Thank you very much for your support.
11.03.12 - 21 miles of pure pain done! Not sure how I will manage 5.2 more...next six weeks are going to be tough.
For those who have not used a similar site before donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe (they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails). Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Alzheimer Scotland and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate what you can.
