In memory of Chris Tickle
We fund research into spinal cord injury to find a cure for spinal injury paralysis

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In September 2009 my good friend Christopher Tickle suffered a severe neck injury when a rugby scrum collapsed. Sadly he died in hospital three weeks later.

Christopher was a very popular 23 year-old with a sense of humour and a willingness to help and support others. His legacy is to inspire a wide range of fund-raising activities to support research into spinal injuries.

The Christopher Tickle Fund has joined up with the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation and all funds raised in Christopher's name will be channelled towards this vitally important charity.

The Ironman is a big personal challenge for me, especially the swim considering I only learnt how to swim after signing up for this event; my doggy paddle is improving week by week.

Your support is greatly appreciated and I hope to do Christopher proud.
