Julie-Anne Graham has asked that I set this up in memory of her late partner Stuart Thomson who sadly passed away in a tragic accident whilst climbing in Glencoe on the 2nd of August 2017. Stuart loved life, he loved running and climbing and was never more free than when he was at one with nature. Stuart played a massive role in peoples lives in the recovering community dealing with addiction. Stuart's other passion was the charity he helped build Aid and Abet, he was a core group member and mentor. He used his life experience to help prisoners leaving prison to turn their lives around. Stuart's passion took him to prisons all over Scotland. He supported prisoners on their release who were coming back to Edinburgh and the Lothians, helping them integrate back into society to stop them returning back to prison.
Stuart was due to run the West Lothian half marathon on the 20th of August. In his memory Julie-Anne, family and many friends will be running in memory of Stuart to raise funds for the charity he loved and was so passionate about Aid and Abet.
Julie-Anne would like to thank everyone who makes a donation.
