I'll keep this brief - I know we all get lots of requests.

This Sunday I'm (hopefully) going to be cycling 100 miles around Birmingham and the West Mids along with 14,999 others. It's a bit daunting right now....

I want to raise some money for Guide Dogs for the Blind - it'll keep me going on the difficult bits.

If you can have a look down the back of the settee I'd really appreciate it and more importantly so will the person who gets the assistance.

I'm hoping to raise £350 which will buy enough for 2 of the initial puppy training packs. As an indication of what else there is:

£25 buys an iconic white guide dog harness

80p feeds a guide dog for a day

£7.50 buys a puppy training lead

£4 buys a brush

£18 buys a harness handle - the way the owner feels the dog moving

£3 buys a puppy collar

£16 buys a bed fleece

£25 covers the annual vaccination costs
