Story
I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year to participate in the 10k run.
I am 29yrs old, married with two beautiful boys, both under the age of 3yrs.
Early last year I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma stage 2 type B. I was told I will need 6months of chemotherapy and still am undergoing treatment!
I've always heard about someone having Cancer but never did I think it'd be me! I initially didn't know what to think or even know how to feel once I was told but one thing I clearly remember was thinking about my two boys and if I'd live to see them grow up!
Today I'm here planning to run the 10k, wow, its an amazing feeling just to know that I can make plans for the future, where as 6months ago I didnt even think I'd even make it a couple of months.
My 6months of chemotherapy haven't finished yet which means my body is still very weak and in a lot of pain. To be honest there's days where I can't even get out of bed let alone walk down the street.
I am adoment to complete this 10k. I am hoping to run it but if that doesn't happen, I will walk and if that doesn't happen, I will crawl but I WILL complete it!
If it wasn't for Cancer Research and all their hard work they put in, me and millions of people wouldn't be here today! I would like to give back something to them to say thank you and help kick cancer for good!
Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure. Every penny makes a £pound and every £pound makes a huge difference!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my just giving page and donating!
Let's kick cancer together and forever!
