TIC (Tourettes-Syndrome Inclusion in the Community) supports people in Hull and Yorkshire who are affected by Tourettes Syndrome. Tourettes Syndrome is a neurological condition that affects 1 in 100 school children and is lifelong. we provide support groups for our members, and deliver awareness talks to schools and other organisations. we aim to reduce social exclusion and stigma associated with the condition locally. We have only being running for a little over a year but aim to provide future workshops and training in order to promote self-help.

Story

Under current circumstances we are trying to find innovative ways to continue to raise funds to help support our members and keep the charity going.

So far we have done two online events that have included raffles and we are currently holding a book raffle.

TIC have been able to provide its members with care packages and individual support thanks to lottery funding, but we don't know how long the current situation is going to last. We may need to offer this again down the line.

Every donation received helps us to continue to offer support when needed and must importantly enables us to ensure we are still standing when this is all over.

Thank you so much to those who continue to support us xx
