Story
I am walking or jogging 31 miles this October to help bring smiles to patients at Alder Hey Children's Hospital. As you all know or my closet friends and family will know Alder Hey is a massive part of our lives and has been seen Logan was 4 weeks old and was blue lighted there with heart failure due to his heart condition SVT, we are also now waiting for his operation on his feet as he has been recently diagnosed with 2 lots of identical tarsal coalitions in his feet which as always with Logan is rare and only effects 1% of the population 😂 who’d of thought eh, so anyway please please even if it’s just a penny every little can help an amazing hospital for amazing children and parents who go through the traumatic times too we don’t know what we would of done without alder hey and their nurses doctors and surgeons who saved our sons life xx
Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 45,000 patients and families we care for every year.
Since 2013, over £70m has been raised for a range of life-saving medical equipment and facilities that are making a real difference every day.
That money also ensures that every child experiences Alder Hey magic – those little added extras that make the hospital experience the best it can be during a young person’s stay.
