私達の募金活動のページへお越しいただき、ありがとうございます。
オックスファム・トレイルウォーカーは世界的に行われているウォーキング・イベントです。神奈川県小田原市から山梨県山中湖村までの標高差1200m、全長100kmのコースを4人1組のチームで48時間以内で完歩できるよう、励ましあってゴールを目指します。自分の体力に挑戦すると同時 に、参加をきっかけに寄付金を集めて国際協力に貢献するというもうひとつの挑戦が用意された企画で、これまでにオーストラリア、ニュージーランド、イギリ ス、香港、オランダ、カナダ、ベルギー、アイルランドで開催され、日本でも2007年から毎年開催されています。

 

 

 

第三回目となる2009年には、171 チームが参加し、約5000万円もの寄付金が集まりました。
寄付金は、国際協力団体オックスファムの実施する途上国の紛争・災害時の緊急支援、教育・農業支援などの国際協力活動に使われ、人々が貧困から立ち上がるために役立てられています。集められたご寄付の使途に関する詳細は、こちらをご覧ください。
トレイルウォーカーの主催は、民間の国際協力団体、（特活）オックスファム・ジャパン。貧困問題の解決に向けて世界100ヶ国以上で活動するオックスファムは世界的に高く評価され、今までノーベル平和賞に3回ノミネートされています。
