Story
On Sunday 19th June I will be plummeting through the sky from 14,000 feet to raise money for Send a Cow.
As a relatively clumsy/ ditsy/ accident prone/ generally very blonde person this is the type of thing that my friends usually try to prevent me from doing (see picture as reference!). However, as this is for charity I am doing it anyway!
Send a Cow is an amazing organisation that helps thousands of African families grow enough food to eat, sell their produce and develop small businesses, effecting real sustainable change and saving thousands of lives each year. In turn, these families then pass on young livestock, seeds or training to others.
Some friends of mine raised £12,478 for this charity last year through their non-profit festival (www.freerangefestival.org.uk). This year the jump is part of a growing campaign to generate an even bigger contribution, allowing yet more of those most in need to help themselves and their families and communities around them.
Please do help in any way you can. The skydive has been entirely funded by my paycheck so every penny donated will go straight to charity.
I promise* to come back in one piece!!
Thank you!
x
