This year marks a huge milestone for my family. It’s 20 years since my Mum, Kim, was diagnosed with Leukaemia at just 36 years old. 

CLIC supported us when we needed it most, providing much needed accommodation near Bristol Children’s Hospital where my Dad was able to stay for months to be near my Mum’s side day and night. I’m writing this with an immense sense of gratitude and thank everyone who helped us through that awful time in life. My Mum is an absolute trooper, a role model and my sister and I are so proud to call her Mum, but she’s also an awesome Nan too, to my nephew, Henry.

I am aiming to raise £500 for CLIC to help others going through what we did and to allow this amazing charity to continue making a real difference. 

My parents and some of my besties will both be there to support us at the London Marathon :)
