Story

We are walking the three peaks on the 27th July in memory of a hero, Kyle Stock.

Kyle tragically died on the 26th May 2012 when his motorcycle collided with a HGV travelling in the opposite direction in Grassington, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kyle was expecting a baby with his beloved partner, Emma, at the time; so tragically he never got to meet his little girl, Amber Mae.

Kyle grew up in Birkenshaw, East Bierley and then Hunsworth, Cleckheaton, before moving to Birstall to live with his partner Emma. He went to Whitcliffe Mount where he took his Duke of Edinburgh Award, which led to him joining the army in the Royal Signal at the age of 16.

Kyle did a tour of Iraq before training in bomb disposal, serving in Northern Ireland and Afghanistan. He became a lance corporal recommended for promotion by the time he left the army in September 2011. He served in the 11EOD Royal Logistics Corps for six months.

Kyle was one of the nicest and loving people to meet, he had so many friends and when you became a friend you stayed with him for life. He touched the lives of so many different people, from young to old. Kyle had a big heart and a big smile, he was a very special person. His best friends said 'he was the sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day, always having a laugh and a joke; he became the bestfriend of everyone who met him.'

Kyle will always be deeply missed forever, his memory will live on and never be forgotten.

We are walking the three peaks in memory of Kyle for the charities, Felix Fund and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. We are raising money for the Felix Fund as they have helped tremendously for Emma and Amber supporting them financially. We are too raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance as within minutes they arrived at the scene even though there was nothing they could do for Kyle.
