Story
Myself and a few of the boys signed up to complete the Kiltwalk (23 miles) on the 28th of April this year.
Chances are if you're visiting the page you know I myself have Cystic Fibrosis. I was diagnosed around 6 months old and its been a constant battle ever since for myself, family and doctors to keep me as healthy as possible.
I've been very fortunate with my health so I'm in a position at the age of 30 that I can still live a pretty normal life. Many with Cystic Fibrosis aren't as fortunate, so raising money for a charity that work tirelessly to help others with the same health condition makes sense.
Never know what's round the corner and I could quite easily need their help in the future myself.
Separately, my best pal Michael McCallum has gone and ran The West Highland Way over the course of 25hrs (168.50km), as I'm typing this I canny comprehend the distance or sheer scale of what he was able to accomplish. It's an unbelievable achievement.
He planned to raise money himself, but planning such a run and timings etc isn't as easy so we've combined the one page.
If you can donate even a couple of quid it's greatly appreciated, I've set a target and i'll top it up to the target by the end if its not reached. I'll update a photo or two from the day aswell.
Cheers
