Allow me to introduce myself. Now my rights have been abused and my calls have been refused. Time and time again though you probably wouldn’t have read why I chose to throw stones while the clouds were raining drones.

See I’ve been forced into exile since 1948. Charged without a trial with only torture that awaits. A topic of debate yet we don’t investigate the traits of the oppressors and the lives that they take.

Now allow me to explain, that for the last 40 years we’ve been trapped in a cage. An open air prison with dying hope that life would change without sadness and rage so justice would prevail, a new chapter a new page.

Is someone out there aware of this illegal occupation? Constantly harassed and attacked with confrontation.Threatened with violence and driven to isolation. Another day in Palestine another tribulation

Would it surprise you if you knew that kids under 15 are arrested and detained? While over 50 in the past few week have been conflicted with pain.

Yet in their mighty hearts you will not discover a single grain of despair as they keep fighting the ravish and restrain

What if you went for a walk in my shoes just for one day and you heard the sound of screams like a soundtrack on replay? I guarantee you didn’t think this way from what the media portrays

And it's without a doubt that it’s no mystery that we possess a history so rich and great. A legacy of victories to which only real heroes can relate.

What if I told you that the ongoing siege and aggression should be a lesson for mankind to wake up from this sedation? To protect the rightful nation.

And I pray for a day to witness the next generation to live without fear of discrimination, in peace and liberation

Because don’t we all bleed the same blood and breathe the same air? So how can we possibly say that our treatment is only fair?

Blood was shed as we fled from stolen land claimed as theirs yet we still show resilience wishing the world cared

For our sisters and brothers, our mothers and fathers

farmers a land full of martyrs

This is the reality
of West Bank and Gaza
