Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Have you ever looked at a child "creating" in a shop and thought to yourself "what a naughty child, why doesn't the parent get that child in check!". Have you ever stopped to think of the reason why the child behaves like that.
Thousands of children and adults struggle with Austism every day. Simple things like visitng a shop or going out for meal can be a big ask. People with Autism find social and communication difficult, things that come easy to you and I.
Having had my daughter diagnosed with ASD I understand those difficulties. Up until this I to was one of the people looking at that child in the shop.
Autism is more common than you think, 1 in every 100 people have the condition. People who suffer with Autism tend to look like you and I, its a hidden condition that people tend to be ignorant to unless they known someone who suffers.
I am doing this run, I know its not a marathon or a major event but I would like to do this to help raise money for the National Autistic Society so that they can help people understand the daily issues that ASD sufferers have to endure and to be able to support families that are effected.
