Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity, supporting young lives from birth to 18. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the North of Scotland who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Cash for Kids is the Charity arm of Moray Firth Radio. They raise funds throughout the year for distribution to local sick and underprivileged children.

Many of their grants are used to support terminally ill children from remote areas who are faced with colossal accommodation and travelling expenses for vital treatment in Inverness or the Central Belt.

They have funded trips for terminally ill children to go on holiday, purchased essential pieces of equipment for the disabled and granted clothes to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

On the 29th October 2011 i am going to do a 20ft long burning coal walk in Inverness. I am doing this to raise money for MFR Cash for kids. This is a good charity and i hope you'll help me in raising money.
