I am running race for life this year as its a charity close to my heart. I have lost so many family members through cancer: breast cancer & pancriatic cancer. I lost my great auntie to breast cancer & my auntie to pancreatic cancer. There are other family members but I was too young to remember them. 

For every £40 raised buys a text book for a cancer information nurse.

Every £50 raised can buy 50 thermometers for scientists to monitor the temperature of their experiments & ensure they work properly.

£82 enables a man to take part in a one year study to develop a potential screening test for men at higher risk of prostate cancer.

£184 pays for the cost of running cancer chat for 4 hours!
